After waiting for 24 hours, Raima’s husband and family filed a missing person’s report at Kalabagan police station on January 16th. After receiving the missing report of actress Raima, police launched an investigation, and on January 17th, local residents of Kadamtoli Area made a call that assisted in Raima’s discovery.
According to reports, a body was discovered near the Alipore Bridge in Kadamtoli. When police arrived in response to a call, they discovered that the body in the bag belonged to actress Raima Islam. The actress’s body was immediately taken to Sir Salumullah Medical College Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and police resumed their investigation.
As a result, authorities detained the actress’s husband, Mr. Shakhawat Ali Nobel, for questioning. Raima’s body was discovered with numerous cruelly battered and injured markings. After a few questions and torching by police, Raima’s husband confessed to the crime and admitted to murdering his wife with the help of his friend SMY Abdullah Farhad.
