MarShon Scitif Brooks, better known as just MarShon Brooks, was born on January 26, 1989, in Long Branch, New Jersey, to parents Darlyn Brooks (mother) and Freddie Woods (father).
MarShon’s sister is named Naya Brooks. He also has a brother. His family moved to Tucker, Georgia, when MarShon was six years old.
But he used to come back to New Jersey every summer to stay with his grandmother and go to summer camp at Monmouth University.
