Jon Scott started off as a correspondent for KOMU-TV in Columbia when he first entered the news business.
Later, he worked as a reporter, weekend co-anchor, and evening news anchor for WPLG-TV (ABC), Miami. Jon also served as the bureau chief for Denver’s KUSA-TV (NBC). He served as a correspondent for Dateline NBC from 1992 to 1995 as part of his shift from channel to channel to obtain more experience and build his resume.
Prior to joining the Fox News Channel in 1996, Jon also hosted A Current Affair. He was the journalist that covered Osama Bin Laden’s murder on May 1 and May 2, 2011.
Along with the Emmy she received for news writing for the NBC program Dateline, Jon has received other state and national accolades for his reporting on the news.
