Corey was selected seventh overall by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2007 NBA Draft.
During the summer leagues in Las Vegas, Brewer chose to wear Jersey No. 22 to honor a deceased player, Malik Sealy, who had worn Jersey No. 2 in Minnesota.
Corey fans were disappointed that he did not play in the 2008-2009 NBA season due to a knee injury sustained in 2008.
Mavericks of Dallas
