Tara was born on July 14, 1982, in Hammond, Indiana. According to her bio, she attended North Central High School. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology from Valparaiso University. Tara received the American Meteorological Society (AMS) seal of approval in 2005.
She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall on average (1.70meters). While there is no mention of Tara’s weight, she did lose weight at one point in 2015. Her followers were quick to notice her new look, and one even asked her about her weight loss on Twitter. Tara responded to the tweet by denying knowing her weight because she hadn’t weighed herself in months.
Tara comes from a family where both her grandmother and mother battled breast cancer. Tara revealed in January 2018 that she had undergone an MRI guided biopsy of her breasts. It was because her grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 37, and her mother was diagnosed at the age of 39. Tara’s decision to seek medical attention was understandable.
