Unless their first name is ‘Robin’ and their surname is ‘Quivers,’ not everyone is doomed to experience upheavals in their lives. Anyone who has ever watched The Howard Stern Show will immediately recognize Robin Quivers. After all, she is one of the most impressive sides in television history.
Robin Quivers, 67, was born on August 8, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland, to homemaker Louise and steelworker Charles Quivers. She has one biological brother, Charles Jr., as well as two adopted brothers, Harry and Howard.
Robin Quivers: Salary / Net Worth
Robin worked as a nurse at Maryland Shock Trauma Facility after graduating from the University of Maryland with a degree in nursing.
She described her job as “a shock-trauma, intensive care type of nurse, so I saw unpleasantness all the time.”
She joined the US Air Force in 1975, knowing she could put her degree to use, and was appointed as a second lieutenant.
She later served as a Captain for a few months. Despite being discharged from her post by the end of 1979, she remained a member of the United States Air Force until 1990.
When Robin returned to Baltimore in 1979, she was 29 years old. She first appeared on The Howard Stern Show in 1981.
Robin is a revered author of the twenty-first century, in addition to being a TV personality with a salary of $10 million. Quivers: A Life and The Vegucation of Robin: How Real Food Saved My Life are two of her published works.
In the meantime, her total net worth is a whopping $45 million.
Robin Quivers: Is She Married?
Although there have been numerous rumors of the relationship between Howard Stern and Robin, Robin simply denies the rumor saying “we are just good friends and nothing more than that”.
Nonetheless, Robin had been in a relationship with the cop, known on the show as Mr. X, for over a decade. However, they both eventually split up. Following her breakup with Mr.X, Robin began dating Jim Florentine, an American stand-up comedian.
However, her relationship with Jim, like her previous relationship with Mr. X, could not last, despite the fact that they had rebounded from their first breakup.
Robin was previously linked to Michael Swan, Nick Manning, Kurt Angle, and Brendon, in addition to Mr. X and Jim. However, she is currently unmarried.
Victim of Cancer
Robin was hit by a hard wall when she learned from her doctor in 2012 that she had cancerous cells on her lower abdomen, around the bladder region.
Her family, as well as her co-conspirator, Howard Stern, were devastated by the news. Despite the terrible tragedy that had befallen Robin, she continued to work in radio by reading news live from her home studio.
Despite their concerns about her health, her supporters were relieved when her tumor was successfully removed during a 12-hour surgery.
Her Life’s Bitter Reality
Bitter would be an understatement to describe what Robin endured as a child. It was a disaster, and it had been brought on by someone she had least expected.
Robin revealed sexual molestation at the hands of her father, Charles Quivers, when she was 11 years old.
On an episode of The Stern Show in September 2018, Robin admitted that she had kept everything to herself until she was in her thirties, when she finally decided to write to her mother, Louise Quivers.
Robin vented everything in a letter to her mother for whatever reason. When asked about her mother’s reaction, all she had to say was, Yes, she said she was furious at him, but clearly not enough to abandon him.
That’s why I kept my mouth shut, even though I knew it would get twisted. Because she did accuse me of ‘colluding with my father — that we got together and kept something from her’ one day. Imagine having to deal with that when I was 11 years old.
But Robin assured her that she had moved on from the period in her life when she had allowed the thing to control her life.
Today, after speaking about everything and receiving the assistance and support she required, the host feels liberated and at peace.
