Owen Brenman, an English actor, was born in London on December 17, 1956. Brenman is best known for his role as next-door neighbor Nick Swainey in the award-winning BBC television sitcom series One Foot in One Grave.
From 1990 to 2000, the show was written by English writer David Renwick and aired for ten years. Owen currently portrays Dr. Heston Carter in the BBC drama series Doctors.
Owen received his education at University College School, an independent day school for boys. The school was located in Hampstead, northwest London.
Owen then attended the University of Birmingham and earned a BA Honours in Drama. After that, he attended the Webber Douglas School of Singing and Dramatic Art.
