Maluma is the stage name of Juan Luis Londono Arias, a Colombian singer. The singer was born in Medellin, Colombia, on January 28, 1994.
His musical potential was discovered when his song “No quiero,” which he co-wrote with a close friend, was released in his early adolescence. A young Maluma wowed many music producers with his singing and composition abilities, prompting them to grant him a singing contract. Maluma was requested by the song producers to choose a stage name that would appeal to his fans.
According to his official website, the singer then adopted the stage name Maluma, which is a mixture of his mother’s name Marlli, his father’s name Luis, and his sister’s name Manuela.

The musician noted at the start of the interview that he has “been really open-minded [about tattoos] since I was very young.” He, on the other hand, confessed that he has always wanted “to have a tattoo,” and his first one was when he was 14 years old.
The musician inked his moniker Maluma on his left leg for his first tattoo. Maluma claims that after learning about the tattoo, his mother was furious with him, but she later accepted his decision after learning about the meaning of the tattoo.
“Getting my first tattoo was a fantastic idea,” Maluma stated.
Maluma has a number of tattoos on his left arm, each with a different meaning. The term “Magia,” which is the name of his debut album, is tattooed around the wrist area. Second, between his elbow and wrist, Maluma has a large tattoo of Buddha’s visage.

While the singer referred to the lion tattoo as “one of my favorites,” Maluma associated the owl tattoo with wisdom, describing it as “one of the most essential tattoos I receive.”
