Lynn, interestingly, spoke to Radio Times on the same day. During the session, she admitted that she felt guilty about leaving Radio 2 and that she felt like a bad person for leaving the company because the day was dubbed “Mourning Thursday.”
Lynn even gushed about why she left her job as a traffic reporter at BBC Radio 2 after nearly two decades. She stated that her hectic schedule was the primary reason for her departure.
She revealed that she was tired of doing early morning news for so long, waking up at 4 a.m. every day. Lynn also stated that she wanted to broaden her horizons rather than stick to the same routine every day.
Lynn currently only hosts her BBC Radio Wales show on Sunday afternoons.
