The Florida native was raised in a working-class family; his father was a state trooper who also painted houses. Gus spent his childhood painting with his father. In addition, he laid floors, did roofing, and worked on a farm for about three years.
Gus, on the other hand, was homeless at the age of 17. He was forced to couch surf at friends’ homes and avoid his family, which included his sisters and brother.
Gus never intended to pursue a career in modeling or acting. However, when he was 19, he used to talk with a girl who was interested in modeling. Gus went with the girl in her set one day, and her agent was impressed by his appearance. Gus was immediately signed to his agency.
Gus then signed with eight different agencies in Florida within two weeks. Then he was approached by a major book publishing company, and his career took off from there.
Gus modeled for several commercial brands and appeared on the covers of several romance novels.
He also became a book cover model for Jennifer L. Armentrout’s ‘Luc,’ which is set to be released in 2018. Apart from that, he has appeared in several books and for Armani fragrance.

Gus Smyrnios Shows Off His Love For Siblings
Gus posts pictures of his siblings and family on his social media accounts on a regular basis. He makes every effort to carve out time from his hectic schedule to spend with his family.
Gus posted an Instagram photo with his siblings, a brother named Seth and a sister named Leah, on July 2, 2018. He mentioned in the caption that he was in Florida with the most welcoming people and that he missed his other sibling, Hannah.
Gus’ caption also reflected his brother’s love for his younger siblings. He wrote that he is working hard to find a way to assist his siblings in getting whatever they desire. He also stated that he does not want them to end up like him when he was 17 years old.
Looking at the posts, it is clear that Gus is a family man. He is undeniably a success story who works tirelessly for the sake of his loved ones.

Gus, a Tallahassee Community College graduate, is likely to have a lot of girls swooning over his dashing looks and height.

Nonetheless, Gus attempted to date one of his roommates, Nilsa Prowant, in Season 1 of the American reality series Floribama Shore in 2017. He even asked her out on a date, but she declined.
Jeremiah, her other roommate, piqued her interest. Nilsa even slapped Gus across the face for getting too close to her. Gus eventually got over Nilsa and moved on, hooking up with other girls.
However, things have gone unexpectedly wrong in Season 2, which is currently airing in 2018. Gus and Nilsa are both single again, and it appears that Nilsa is trying to hook up with Gus after surprising him with a kiss in a cab.
