Doris’ family went through the most difficult period of their lives after Doris’ mother was diagnosed with dementia around 2004. Before the head lady of the family was diagnosed with the illness, the rest of her family had no idea what it was.
Dementia quickly progressed to Alzheimer’s, which shocked the family. Doris, along with her siblings, took care of their mother in every way.
As a result, despite suffering from such a dangerous disease, Doris’ mother lived for another 12 years thanks to the care and love provided by her family.
