However, following her untimely death, he took a two-week break from the project and delegated his directing duties to Avengers filmmaker and Buffy the Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon. In that dire situation, he wished to spend more time with his family.

He had intended to return to the movie as soon as possible, but he ended up spending a few more weeks with his family. As he put it,

“I thought it would be cathartic to go back to work, to just bury myself and see if that was the way out.”

Furthermore, the superhero film starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, and Gal Gadot was a commercial success, grossing more than $657 million worldwide.

Autumn Snyder was adopted from China by Zack, and she had seven siblings.
