Evanston Police responded to a report of a woman’s body in the water at Garden Park in the 500 block of Sheridan Square at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. On Saturday, police identified Elise Malary as the woman.

Police had already ruled out foul play as a cause of Malary’s disappearance. Her body was discovered along the lakefront in Evanston, according to authorities.
