They must defeat us because we are the best. That’s how we’re going to improve.”
But, once again, his prediction was incorrect, as the Chargers failed to make the Super Bowl and were eliminated from the playoffs due to a poor record.
Ingram suffered a knee injury on September 25, 2020, and was placed on the injured reserve list. On October 24, 2020, he was released from the reserve list.
On November 22, 2020, he suffered another knee injury and was placed back on the injured reserve list.
He appeared in 113 regular-season games, recording 360 combined tackles, 49 sacks, 13 forced fumbles, one touchdown, and three interceptions.
