She was raised in a little, incredibly conservative community on the Louisiana swamp. Three or four times a week, her mother, a devoted Christian, used to accompany the family to church.
Her mother died of a brain tumor when she was fourteen years old. She moved away from the faith and started modeling at the age of fifteen as a means to deal with the loss.
She was motivated to enroll at the University of Southern Mississippi after seeing her sister.

The couple later wed in a lovely ceremony on March 5, 2017, at Southern Oaks Plantation in New Orleans, which was scheduled six months later.
The bride chose a lace on tulle mermaid gown from Liancarlo for her wedding, which was attended by 150 family members and friends. The groom donned his Air Force uniform.
