On May 27, the couple startled their fans by announcing their split on their individual social media accounts.
Costa sadly shared the news on Instagram and pleaded for his followers’ patience and strength during this trying time. He detailed the scenario between the two in a long paragraph.
In his letter, which was written in Spanish, Costa did not explain why they had made this decision, but he did think back on his ten years of marriage to his wife and their daughter Alaia, then six. He did, however, appeal for prayers and understanding as he closed his remarks in an optimistic manner.
On the other side, Adamari also announced the news on her Instagram account and discussed their issue in her show. She started the depressing chat with her co-host while crying, explaining that she had made the decision to end their relationship.
She stated that the couple will co-parent Alaia and try their best to provide her with all the love and care she required while also expressing her concern for her daughter.
How Did Their Love Story Begin?
It all started on the set of the Spanish-language reality television program Mira quien baila, also known as Look Who’s Dancing.
They had both joined the show as contestants in 2011, gotten to know one another, and since then, their blossoming romance has made headlines. However, little did they know that their love story would take such a sad turn.
The couple announced their romance to the public a few months after the reality program was over. Adamari accepted Costa’s proposal with the intention of moving forward, but for some reason, they never got married while welcoming their daughter in 2015.
