English actor and playwright Tim Downie feels that humor is encoded in his DNA. He does not, however, restrict himself to humorous parts. Additionally, he amuses his audiences with a variety of portrayals.
He is most recognized for his major performances in the films Paddington (2014) and The King’s Speech, as well as the TV series Toast of London (2012–2015), Outlander (2014–2018), and Upstart Crow (2010).
Tim Downie: Early Life, Age, Wiki, Parents, Ethnicity
In a village not far from Hitchin in the English county of Hertfordshire, Tim Downie was born in July 1977. He had a wonderful childhood. He felt free to go anyplace because his family owned countless acres of land.
But as he grew older, the place stopped offering him as much after years of making rafts, climbing trees, and falling in rivers. He then began reading.
He inherited his unwavering passion for the arts from his “very” artistic parents. Anything produced after 1948 was off-limits to his father. As a result, he was raised on Ealing comedy and other black-and-white movies.
Education
Tim Downie is naturally talented in both writing and performing. In his twenties, while attending acting school, he started writing and directing short movies. In North London’s Mountview Academy of Theatrical Arts, he received his training.
The Dead Moon, his first commissioned play, was the first “non-operatic” production to be presented at the Aldeburgh Festival. It was then followed by appearances in Cannes in the Straight 8 competition a few years later.
Married To Wife?
Tim Downie and his wife have been together since September 5th, 2010.
Tim revealed to theresident.co.uk in January 2018 that every year on the occasion of their wedding anniversary, he buys his wife an owl—not a real one because that would be difficult to maintain and possibly harmful.
Tim and his wife are parents to two daughters who are five (as of 19 January 2019) and two sons (as of 8 May 2018).
