Linda received her education at Faulkner School for Girls. She later earned a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Italian language from Stanford University. Lorelle then went on to acquire a Master of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Linda’s husband, media personality Lou Gregory, is her life partner. Linda Lorelle’s husband Lou created and co-chairs the Linda Lorelle Scholarship Fund. The organization provides financially underprivileged Houston high school students with college scholarships, support, and mentoring.
Lou and Linda aren’t sure how or when they met, but they appear to have dated for several months before exchanging wedding vows in June 1990.
