After an hour, her killer and former boyfriend, Melvin Rowland committed suicide inside a neighboring church. Around one in the morning on Tuesday, October 23, 2018, he was discovered dead in a chapel in Salt Lake City. He seems to have shot himself in the head before dying. But a few days ago, he vanished from the Fortitude Treatment Center.
