Unexpectedly, Karamo became a father when he was served with documents requiring him to pay Jason’s child support. Jason is Karamo’s 10-year-old son. Years later, his final high school girlfriend delivered the bad news to his door.
When Karamo was 15 years old, his girlfriend moved away and hid the fact that she was pregnant with their child.
In order to keep the siblings together, Karamo eventually tracked down his son Jason in 2007, and in 2010 he also adopted Christian.
Additionally, the father-son duo has been residing in Los Angeles since 2011.
