American author and computer security expert Kevin David Mitnick is based in the United States. Kevin Mitnick Hacker
Kevin Mitnick, a hacker Mitnick circumvented the punch card system of the Los Angeles bus system as early as the age of twelve. With the transfer slips in hand, the expert could board any bus traveling through Los Angeles. In order to break usernames, modem phone numbers, and passwords, he used social engineering, and he continued to do so throughout the rest of his life. In 1979, Kevin gained access to a computer network after a buddy gave him Ark’s phone number. He then hacked the computer network of the Digital Equipment Corporation. Mitnick made a copy of the computer program, which led to his arrest.
He was given a 12-month prison term and a three-year supervised release period. Later, he broke into Pacific Bell’s voicemail computers. Kevin, according to the US Department of Justice, stole software from major computer and cell phone businesses and breached numerous computer networks. In 1995, the FBI apprehended Mitnick at his North Carolina residence and placed him under arrest for wire and computer fraud. Even Yahoo was compromised. For his actions, the hacker was sent to prison. Kevin entered a guilty plea in 1999 for wire fraud and other computer-related offenses, and as a result of breaking the terms of his 1989 supervised release regarding computer fraud, he was given a sentence of forty-six months in prison as well as twenty-two months. Mitnick served five years in prison, including eight months in solitary. After being released from prison in 2000, Mitnick was prohibited from using any communications technology for three years. He appealed this choice and acquired the right to utilize it in the future.
