With the help of Willie Strong, he released his first song, Cold Wind Madness, in 1982. Killers and Reckless Rivalry followed in 1984 and 1985, respectively. Six in the Morning, from 1986, is another of his songs. In 1987, Ice T signed a deal with Sire Records and released Rhyme Pays. In 1991, he co-founded the band Body Count and released his album, O.G. Original Gangster. He got embroiled in a squabble over his Cop Killer song. Ice-T’s music career has lasted to this day.
