Britney Eurton works for TVG as an analyst and paddock host, primarily covering the West Coast beat. She is a regular face on TVG, the horse racing channel network. Britney also covers horse racing for NBC Sports, including the Triple Crown and the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.

Britney Eurton covers Thoroughbred racing for TVG across the United States and internationally. The NBC Sports and TVG analyst is exceptionally talented and one of the best in the business, always seeming to put her guests at ease during interviews and providing excellent insight and analysis.

But, more importantly, she has established herself as a fixture on the Southern California circuit.

From a young age, she was destined for a career in entertainment and horse racing analysis. Eurton, who lives in Los Angeles, is the daughter of former jockey and accomplished thoroughbred racehorse trainer Peter Eurton.

Britney Eurton, the TVG/NBC host, was born in Glendora, California in September 1987.

AD Eurton is the daughter of California-based trainer Peter Eurton, who trains Champagne Room, who won the 14 Hands Winery Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies in 2016, and Ashleyluvsugar and Giant Expectations in 2017.

Britney’s father, Peter, is a well-known trainer in the Southern California area. He’s been doing it for over 35 years.

Miss Eurton grew up spending a lot of time around the track as a result of this. She considers her father to be the most influential person in her career, as well as one of her staunchest supporters.

How Did Britney Eurton Get Her Job As A Horse Racing Reporter?

Kevin Grigsby of TVG was the one who first approached Britney about the reporting position. Grigsby approached her with an offer and asked if she wanted to audition. Britney began working for TVG not long after. Eurton joined TVG in 2014.

She began by covering social media, then was promoted to part-time reporter, and finally to her current full-time host and reporter position. Britney began her career at Los Alamitos, where she was mentored by Mike Joyce (a TVG personality).

The Californian describes the experience as nerve-racking because broadcasting was new to her at the time. Still, her passion for and knowledge of horse racing, combined with her experience in front of the camera, proved to be a winning combination.

Peter’s daughter works for another studio as well: NBC.

AD Eurton made her NBC Sports debut on the Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series in June 2017. She would work on her first Triple Crown in a year for her NBC Sports debut in 2018.

During her time as a horse racing reporter, she won two Fan Choice Awards. Britney recalls the 2014 Kentucky Derby as her favorite racetrack memory. Her most memorable experience as a horse track reporter was conducting interviews at the 2015 Breeders’ Cup at Keeneland in Kentucky.

Britney is also involved in charity work.

She also founded the Hippity Hop Derby, a charity event at Del Mar. Each year, she selects a different organization as its recipient, all of which support the industry in some way (CARMA, PDJF, etc.). The Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, organization raised $1,200 in 2014 and more than $50,000 in 2017.

When asked where she would be in 10 years, Eurton answered, “On Good Morning America. “I have lofty ambitions.”

Britney Eurton aspired to be an actress.

Despite growing up around racehorses, Eurton never considered a career in the industry.

Eurton set out to pursue her passion after attending Cal Poly and the University of Southern California, but she had no intention of pursuing anchoring. The full-time movie, travel, and wine enthusiast aspired to be an actress.

Eurton expressed her original passion in an interview with Aces Golf in June 2020, saying,

“I wanted to be an actress and went to an acting conservatory in Santa Monica after graduation. I did some commercials and theatrical roles, but I got burned out and took six months off to relax before returning to the track.”

And it appears that is how she chose a career as a reporter.

Britney says the transition from acting to her current job was easier because of her father’s years as a trainer, which resulted in her growing up around the track.

Eurton does not own a horse.

The one thing Eurton does not do, ironically, is ride horses.

The brunette reporter once explained why by saying,

“It’s something my parents never encouraged me to do. My father was a jockey before becoming a trainer and taking over my grandfather’s stable, but I grew up playing soccer and dancing.”

Is Britney Eurton dating anyone?

While Eurton interviews a few men away from the racetrack, none of them have been seen with Britney in any romantic context. Or even guys her fans may have never seen before.

Although the University of Southern California graduate is very open to her followers on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, Britney has yet to reveal if she has a boyfriend or husband. Nonetheless, based on her social media presence, she appears to be single for the time being.

She is not married as of 2022. She also does not appear to have any plans to marry. Having said that, we hope she finds the perfect man for herself.

How Much Money Does Britney Eurton Make?

While Eurton is a well-known figure in the horse racing industry, her earnings from this job are a completely different distraction that only requires hunches and estimations.

Britney appears to have a comfortable life financially, though it is unclear what salary she is entitled to at TVG.

Nonetheless, assuming the Californian anchor’s extra-glamorous daily life, one could say her paychecks easily exceed hundreds of thousands of dollars. Her net worth is expected to be in the millions as well.
