After marrying Carol Christine Hilaria Pounder, better known by her stage as “CCH,” Boubacar Kone came to notoriety. They’d been married for more than four decades.
He was also known for co-founding the Musee Boribana in Dakar. On October 25, 1942, in Senegal, Kone made his first public appearance. He studied international journalism at the Institute of International Journalism in Strasbourg, France.
Boubacar Kone had collected an estimated $4 million from his profitable enterprise before his death. By conceiving and constructing the “Musee Boribana,” a modern art museum that opened in 1993, he amassed a substantial fortune.

CCH Pounder, Boubacar Kone’s wife, and he enjoyed a happy marriage. The pair walked down the aisle at a private wedding in 1970. They dated for a long time before becoming husband and wife. The pair had been married for 45 years when Kone died.
Kone is the father of three kids, two daughters, and a son. His first kid, Nicole Kone, was born in 1971. Libya Kone, a daughter, and Matthew Kone, a son, were born in 1973 and 1982, respectively.
