Anita Padilla worked as an intern at WBBM-TV to begin her career as a journalist in the news business. She also had a job at Orlando, Florida’s WFTV. After covering an armed robbery and carjacking committed by a murderer in Orlando, Anita earned her first Emmy in 1995. Around 1995, she began working as a news reporter for Fox Television before leaving to join WMAQ channel 5 in Chicago.
Anita quickly won her second Emmy for reporting on the New Year’s Eve Millennium celebration segment, which helped her achieve the pinnacle of her career. In May 2007, she joined Fox News once more, and ever since, she has been an anchor for Good Day Chicago.

In the end, they were wed on August 14, 1996, at Matangi Island, Fiji.
