Who is Amanda Levy Mckeehan, Toby Mac’s wife? Children, Pregnancy?

There have been a few miraculous interventions in the lives of Toby Mac and Amanda Levy. The songs Mac writes about the couple express their devotion to God. While Toby, Amanda’s husband, is a Christian hip hop recording artist, music producer, songwriter, and author, Amanda is a rather obscure individual.

Toby has published seven single albums throughout the years: Momentum (2001), Welcome to Diverse City (2004), Portable Sounds (2007), Tonight (2010), Eye on It (2012), This Is Not a Test (2015), and The Elements. He has also had success as a musician (2018). Despite Toby’s notoriety, though, little is known about Amanda. So, in this post, we’ll dig a little deeper into Amanda Levy’s life.

Amanda Levy Mckeehan: Early Life, Age, Wiki, Parents, Ethnicity

On January 9th, 1971, Amanda Levy Mckeehan was born in Jamaica. Levy, who was born to parents Judy and Robert Levy of the Jamaica Broilers, spent most of her early years there. Levy adored Jamaican music as a young child, and it was through her career in the music industry that she met her husband, Toby Mac. After getting married in 1994, Levy relocated to the US with Mac. Levy’s education is mostly unknown, and information regarding her professional life has never been made public.

Children

Levy and Mac are parents to four kids in total: Truett, Moses, and Marlee’s twins, Leo, and Judah. The youngest of the four kids, Truett, sometimes known as TruDog or Tru, was born on September 4th, 1998. He made the decision to pursue Christian hip hop in the same direction as his father, with whom he frequently worked. But regrettably, the young musician went away on October 23, 2019. On October 23, 2019, after the Fire Department had responded to a complaint of a cardiac arrest, Tru was discovered dead at his Nashville residence. Although there are currently no known causes of death, an autopsy found that Tru had accidentally overdosed on fentanyl and amphetamines.

Following the passing of his kid, Toby tweeted a moving ode to god

“Truett had a warm spot in his heart for God. He was moved by the Bible. His feelings toward the goods of his King were warm. He was by no means a stereotypical Christian, but give me a believer who struggles to maintain their faith. Every time, give me a broken guy who understands his need for a Savior. It is how Truett should be remembered since that is who he was.

For the twins, the hike

After Tru’s birth in 1998, Levy was unable to conceive. They tried everything, including medications and fertility treatments. But when nothing helped, the medical professionals advised Levy to have surgery to determine what was wrong. While they were now in agreement, Mac got tingling and urged Levy not to proceed. Instead, the two made the decision to consistently pray for 30 days. On the fifth day, they were more explicit and requested twins. On the tenth day, an unidentified individual approached them and inquired about adoption.

They soon came to an understanding and created a parents’ portfolio. They were fortunate that the mother choose them, as the paperwork was completed fast. But after the twins were born, the mother changed her mind and informed Levy and Mac that she didn’t want to give them up. After being left inconsolable, the couple turned down a second invitation to adopt a son. After a few weeks, the mother of the twins called the couple and asked if they wanted to take custody of the child. The adoption of Moses and Marlee by Levy and Mac took place in 2002. After the incident, Levy had no trouble getting pregnant and gave birth to her second child, Leo, on November 2, 2004, and Judah on March 24, 2006.

They have often defended their belief in God and have been adamant about it. Toby posted on their faith in God after Tru died.

“My wife and I would like the world to know that we don’t follow God because we have an unspoken agreement with Him, such as, ‘We’ll follow you if you bless us.'” We adore God, so we follow Him. It’s a privilege too. He is the deity who rules over hills and valleys. And He is more beautiful than everything else.
