In a recent Instagram post, Alexandra O’Laughlin revealed the exciting news and detailed the memorable proposal day. She appeared to be overjoyed to start a new chapter in her life.

On May 28, 2021, the handsome golf correspondent’s man dropped down on one knee and proposed to her, and she is now on cloud nine. O’Laughlin and Matt, the newly engaged couple, appear to have been dating for a few years, based on her Instagram post.
Overjoyed, O’Laighlin posted photos of her proposal on Instagram. The surprise took place on a gorgeous bright day in Napa Valley, California. Tony Kelly, a skilled fine art photographer, and a friend of O’Laughlin’s, captured the momentous moment of the gorgeous couple.
The former collegiate golfer looked lovely in a sweetheart-necked mini-dress in white while supporting her left arm on Matt’s shoulder and clutching a champagne glass in her right hand. When he was wearing dark brown aviator spectacles, her fiancé appeared dashing.
The second image on the page provides a closer view of the sizable diamond ring she is wearing on her ring finger. In a similar vein, the next photo of the couple’s proposal, in which Matt is kneeling and holding the engagement ring in his hand, is priceless because of O’Laughlin’s expression of astonishment and excitement.
She explained how the couple initially met in her letter by saying,
A few years ago after traveling all day to work a tournament, I was eating take-out dinner in the hotel lobby. Matt was waiting there as well for his room to be ready and we made small talk about whatever was on Golf Channel. There was an immediate connection.
After their quick chit-chat, they even went to TopGolf the next night. Over the years, the pair maintained in touch, meeting one other at numerous golf tournaments abroad. Sharing the excitement of sharing the rest of her life with her to-be husband, she further said,
I feel so lucky that I am going to share my life with someone I can love, laugh, and plan with. Golf with. Travel the world with. And who inspires me!
