Richard also acknowledged that his neglectful behavior as a husband contributed to the breakdown of their marriage. He added that his sexuality might also be a contributing factor.

Little Richard, real name Richard Penniman, was Ernestine Campbell’s former husband. He passed away on May 9, 2020, at the age of 87. Richard died of bone cancer, according to a statement released by his attorney Bill Sobel, who also confirmed his passing.
