But how do the players connect with their fans? It’s done via social media accounts. Every player in the National Football League has a Twitter account for the same reason.

It’s one of their primary methods of communicating with supporters. The number of followers is a good indicator of a fan’s support base, but it is subject to sudden changes.

We won’t go into why Twitter, but we will go into it based on the player’s Twitter followers.
