Sthembiso Khoza, 32, is of African descent and of South African nationality. He was born in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, on July 1, 1986.

Stan Khoza, his father, was the national president of the Independent Municipal and Allied Trade Union and a Goju-Kai Karate instructor. Because of his father, Sthembiso became interested in martial arts, and at the age of 12, he was already a black belt.

He grew up with his actor brother, Abdul Khoza.
