Who is Shizuku Tsukishima?

Voice Actor of Shizuku Tsukishima
The Japanese voice actor, Yoko Honna contributed her voice to Shizuku Tsukishima in Whisper of the Heart whereas Brittany Snow has voiced for the English version of this character.
Appearance
Shizuku Tsukishima is a fourteen-year-old slender girl with short umber brown hair that falls just below her ears and the same-colored eyes, though the animation style makes them appear black.
She is seen wearing a buttoned sunshine yellow shirt and a matching sunshine yellow skirt at the start of the film. She later changes into an amaranth red shirt with a white collar, a sunshine yellow skirt, and a flat straw hat with a violet band.
When she goes to school, she also wears a royal blue skirt and white shirt with a long-sleeved carnation pink shirt and a sunshine yellow jacket. She starts out in a white t-shirt and carnation pink shorts with flip flops, then changes into a sunshine yellow collarless shirt and a matching sunshine yellow skirt with baise shoes.
Her uniform consists of a short-sleeved baize sailor shirt with an amaranth red ribbon/tie to tie, a long baize skirt, and white socks, as well as a blue long-sleeved sailor shirt and an indigo skirt later in the year.
She likes her friend Sugimura as a friend or maybe a little more and has been friends with him for years, and Sugimura is in love with her. Her best friend Yuko has a crush on Sugimura, but after Shizuku meets Seiji, she falls for Seiji and no longer likes Sugimura.
Plot
Shizuku is a student at the local junior high school and is currently preparing for high school entrance exams. She enjoys reading and frequently composes alternate lyrics to John Denver’s song “Country Roads.”
She then discovers that all of the library books she is borrowing have been checked out by the mysterious Seiji Amasawa. Shizuku is easily distracted, and she has to apologize for daydreaming in class.
She enjoys writing as well, and has written a novel titled “Whisper of the Heart,” which inspired the film’s title.
Shizuku also has an adversary near the beginning of the film, a boy who annoys her by reading her song lyrics when she leaves her book in the park and signing them all over town, as well as using the irritating phrase “take a wild guess.”
Shizuku is just entering adolescence and is trying to find her place in the world, unsure of which career path to pursue and feeling stifled by Seiji’s lofty violin-making ambitions.
She’s generally pleasant, though she has a habit of exploding in rage and calling people “jerks.” Seiji eventually chooses her as his girlfriend.
