Sergio Ermotti, age 59, is a Swiss investment banker and a previous stock trader, who never had to seek for his real calling desperately. By the time he was 15, he had left his school and indeed went on following his father’s footsteps as a young apprentice at the Corner Bank in Lugano.
He began his career, selling stocks and trading them for even better prospects.
Today the same rookie serves as the chief executive officer of USB Group AG, the most prominent Swiss banking institution in the world.
