Patrick Dwyer and Jennifer Dwyer had Sean Dwyer on March 7, 1992. Sean was raised by family members and quickly learned his family’s trade of fishing.
Patrick Dwyer, Sean’s father, was a commercial fisherman who was diagnosed with ALS in 2005. Patrick’s muscles became so weak as a result of ALS that he could hardly walk; it was as if he had paralysis.
Since then, Sean and his family have struggled to manage their fishing company, St. George Marine, while Patrick has been battling illness.
However, Sean and his mother, Jennifer, remained strong and moved the company forward, with Sean overseeing the business and Jennifer caring for Patrick.
