Sometimes your destiny has a lot more to offer you than what you want to make of yourself. The American chef Samin Nosrat, best known for her 2017 cookbook Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat, describes her cooking career as a diversion from her true destiny.
She mentions that her family wanted her to be a doctor, but one of her teachers encouraged her to pursue a writing career because of her excellent writing skills.
However, one of her date experiences encouraged her to enjoy good food and, in a literal sense, landed her a job the very next day in the same establishment where she had her date.
Samin’s professional success extends beyond the publication of her book. Cooked, a Netflix series, also featured the lady.
Samin’s hard work and dedication will hopefully lead her to a better career path in the coming days.
