Ruth Madeley is a one-of-a-kind individual. People rarely get to see an amazing persona like hers.
The BAFTA-nominated British screenwriter hopes to change the stereotypical portrayal of disabled people on television and big screens. Ruth was diagnosed with spina bifida, a type of neural defect that affects the spine, while she was still in her mother’s womb.
But she never let it weaken her; rather, it was her weakness that kept her going strong. Despite having a long list of acting credits to her name, she has recently become the talk of the media and audiences with the release of her new TV show, Years and Years.
Ruth plays ‘Rosie Lyons,’ the youngest of the Lyons siblings with spina bifida, in the BBC/HBO co-production.
Ruth Madeley: Has A Husband?
Ruth is content and in love with Joe Lawrence, her boyfriend.
When it comes to her beau, the Don’t Take My Baby actress is all smiles. His social media pages reveal that he has an inexplicable passion for motorbike racing.
The flame appears to be coming from both directions. The attractive couple never waits for a special occasion to express their growing feelings for one another.
As a result, it will be easier for their fans and followers to keep track of their relationship timeline.
Joe also posted about their big move on the 28th of October 2016: “First house together with the MRS!!”
After years of living under the same roof, they may be about to break the big news.
The well-wishers will have to wait until Ruth marries her hunk and refers to him as her “husband” to be patient.
Bio: Height, Family
Some of Ruth’s life journey is even documented in the film Spina Bifida & Me, in which she explores what the future holds for her and other babies with similar health conditions.
Unfortunately, when baby Ruth was born, the ‘Madeley’ household could not be all smiles, as the doctor saw the child as having only a slim chance of survival.
However, Ruth’s family must be proud that she has made it this far, and that she is the most beautiful she has ever been.
Ruth, age 31/32, has yet to stand on her own, but the wheelchair has never dimmed her charisma.
