Career

Otis is a Christian athlete who belongs to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In addition, he is a member of the New Jersey Music Workshop for the Arts.

He played point guard for the Kansas Jayhawks men’s basketball team from 1987 to 1988. He was even kicked off the team before the 1988 Big Eight Tournament for unsportsmanlike behavior.

Nikki’s stepmother, a news anchor, arranged for Livingston to intern at the station where she was working at the time. Later that year, as a sports anchor, he joined WNBC-TV alongside Lynn Smith and NBC Sports with Rutledge Wood. Otis previously worked as a weekend sports anchor and reporter for WWOR-TV, as well as WTVO-TV and Randi Kaye.
