Many thought that he was dating his Legacies co-star Danielle Rose Russell, who played Hope Mikaelson, towards the end of the first season. Aria Shahghasemi, 27, was born on October 7, 1996, in Minnesota, United States. Aria’s childhood and family are unknown to the rest of the world because he refuses to share any of his personal information. However, it is known that his parents immigrated from Iran to the United States, giving him Middle Eastern ancestry. He attended Southern Oregon University after high school to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in the theater because he was born in the United States. He subsequently began an acting apprenticeship at the New York Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre.
Aria was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, thus he had to work while in school to support his necessities. As a result, he worked as a bartender in some of New York’s most prestigious restaurants. He even worked as a production assistant on the film Wackademia at one time.
Aria is 5 feet 8 inches (1.73m) tall with green eyes. In the episode Legacies, he has a tattoo, however, it is unclear whether he acquired the tattoo or whether it is just make-up for the show.
