Greg Gumbel and Marcy Gumbel’s Marriage

Greg, 75, is married to his longtime wife Marcy, whose birth name is Marcella Kaszynski.

Greg and his wife married in 1973, the same year he began his journalism career.

On May 12, 1969, four years before their wedding, the couple welcomed their daughter Michelle Gumbel.

Despite Greg’s enormous success in the sports industry, his daughter appeared to be uninterested in sports.

Greg bought his son tickets to the Georgetown-Notre Dame game in 1990. His daughter watched the game and told him she enjoyed it.

When Greg asked if she enjoyed the double-overtime game, Michelle replied that she was unaware of the second game.

Michelle, understandably, was not as invested in games as her father. She has matured into a lady. Her birthdate indicates that she is 52 years old.

She, like her parents, is a happily married woman.
