“Joltin’ Joe” and “The Yankee Clipper” were nicknames for Joe, an American baseball center fielder who spent his entire 13-year career with the New York Yankees. And he is regarded as one of the greatest baseball players of all time, with a 56-game hitting streak that has stood the test of time.

During his career, Joe DiMaggio has also received the Most Valuable Player Award three times and been named an All-Star. His Yankees won ten American League pennants and nine World Series championships during his time with the franchise.
