Jamie Hersch, 31, was born on May 25, 1987 in Champlin, Minnesota. Candy Hersch and James Hersch, her parents, raised her in her hometown.
Jamie developed a strong interest in music at a young age because her father was a singer and songwriter. Furthermore, she received a lot of encouragement from her father, which led to her performing duets with him on several occasions.
In 2005, Jamie enrolled at the University of Southern California. She became involved with several on-campus organizations, including the Annenberg TW News. She also worked as a student ambassador and coached a local team of young girls while playing volleyball.
Jamie’s Professional Career: Jamie’s interest in sports journalism grew over time, as she began watching sports with her family at a young age. Jamie began working as an intern at WCCO-TV in 2007 before graduating with a BA in broadcast journalism.
In August 2009, she moved to WKOW-TV in Madison, Wisconsin. She worked as a weekend anchor and multimedia journalist there. She was then promoted to weekend sports anchor and full-time reporter in January 2011.
Jamie covered major sporting events such as the Rose Bowl in 2011 and 2012, as well as Super Bowl XLV.

Jamie and Matt celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on June 15, 2018. To make the day even more special, Jamie posted a beautiful photo of their wedding on her Instagram account and stated that marrying Matt was the best decision she ever made.
In addition, she thanked her husband for keeping her blushing and adventuring every day.
