Candice Patton is an American actress who was born on June 24, 1988, in Jackson, Mississippi.
She is most recognized for her role in The CW’s The Flash as Irish West-Allen. She had also appeared in several episodes of the BET series The Game as Tori.
Before pursuing a career in acting, the actress attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Her big break in The Young and the Restless came after she won a CBS talent competition for university students.
Patton received her acting break in 2008 with a key role in the web sitcom Sorority Forever after getting discovered on the show.
Patton revealed in a 2015 interview with Glamour that she was “so single” that she had to leave all of her options open. However, according to numerous media sources, she was eventually discovered to be involved in multiple partnerships at different times.
