Monica Beets is a Canadian gold miner and reality television star who rose to prominence after appearing on the Discovery Channel’s reality show Gold Rush.
She started working in the mining industry at the age of 12, following in her father’s footsteps.
Minnie and Taylor Mayes Beets have a daughter named Beets. Kelvin, Mike, and Bianca are her three siblings from a large family. Jasmine, her younger sister, died in March 1993, just a few months after she was born.
Taylor Mayes started working full-time for her father’s mining company when she was 16, and at the age of 18, she was promoted to supervisor. In 2014, she made her television debut in the fifth season of the Discovery reality show Gold Rush, at the age of 21. Beets rose to prominence as a twenty-something woman in charge of day-to-day operations and supervising men twice her age.

On August 11, 2018, Beets and her spouse Taylor Mayes married in Dawson City, Yukon. The ceremony was also featured in a Gold Rush episode. Her parents and siblings, as well as other cast members and her pet dog Doyle, were all present on her special day. For the event, the bride donned a full-length sleeveless and backless wedding gown with a beautiful lace train and veil. Her husband, on the other hand, looked dashing in a black suit with a fresh white shirt and a golden tie.
Her mother, Minnie, wore a navy blue flowered dress and her father wore a fitted suit, and the Beets family was similarly well-dressed. But it was Beet’s adoring dog, Doyle, who stole the show at the wedding with a floral wreath.

Beets and her entourage were featured in a 2018 edition of TLC’s Say Yes To the Dress, where they were tasked with finding the right wedding gown for her big day.
The program revealed how the tension began long before the wedding day, when Tony assisted her daughter with the dress-buying procedure without checking his wording.
Tony mentioned in one tape that his daughter and wife forced him to watch a few episodes before coming to the show because “you’re going to have to behave yourself.”
“So I’m going to be pretty much on my best (explicit) behavior today,” he continued. Tony also stated that he was unconcerned about the dress’s cost.
The wedding gown choosing was definitely a joy for her, and she was able to find the perfect gown for her. She said yes to a sleeveless and backless full-length wedding gown with a gorgeous lace train that she flaunted on her wedding day after trying on a few gowns.
Relationship Status
Monica Beets is still married and happy with her husband, despite rumors and speculation. Beets doesn’t post about her relationship on social media, so it’s safe to assume she wishes to keep it secret. Jasmine is the daughter of Beets and Mayes. The young one is rarely seen on her mother’s social media accounts.
