It’s strange to say the Kardashians are returning because they don’t seem to have left! We all kept up with the Kardashian-Jenners after their main E! reality show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, finished its 20-season run in June 2021, thanks to Instagram and Snapchat.
However, if you want your Kardashian Content in the form of beautiful, glossy, expertly produced television episodes, you’ll want to check out their new Hulu initiative. Here’s all we know so far about the forthcoming Kardashian x Hulu TV program.
What Is The Name Of The Kardashian’s HULU Show?
Keeping Up With the Kardashians was, without a doubt, a brilliantly inventive and instantly memorable moniker. However, the Kardashians are keeping things simple and minimalistic in terms of naming their new Hulu series, just calling it The Kardashians.
When Do The Kardashian On HULU Premium?
The show’s premiere date has been confirmed by Hulu, and it will take place on April 14th! Get ready for the Kardashians to return to the big screen in a big way. “Shatter all expectations,” Hulu wrote as part of the caption accompanying the announcement on Instagram.

Hulu released another teaser trailer for the series in February, which includes a few buzzwords/clues that hint at the show’s focus: Glamour. Power. Notoriety. Family. Oh, and we “have no idea what’s coming” in the series, at least according to Kendall Jenner. So there you have it.

How Many Episodes Are There Going To Be?
Take a look at this: According to Variety, not only will Hulu release two seasons of the show, but there will be a total of 40 episodes between each season. It’s unclear whether this implies each season will have a clean 20-episode split, although it doesn’t seem unlikely. The cast conducted a lot of filming separately rather than in huge group surroundings, so some of the episodes may seem a bit different from scenes in Keeping Up… Variety noted that some of the episodes may appear a little different from scenes in Keeping Up.
Who Will Be On HULU’S Kardashian?
When the Kardashians’ arrangement with Hulu was announced in December 2020, Disney (which owns a majority share in the streaming service) confirmed that Kris Jenner and all five of her daughters—Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian, as well as Kendall and Kylie Jenner—were all signed on for the new show.
Others in the Kardashian inner circle have been confirmed (such as Scott Disick, who is purportedly making money to appear but is noticeably absent in the teasers), while others remain unknown. According to Variety, Kanye West filmed a few scenes for the new program and “figures into a significant narrative in the first episode.” Tristan Thompson, Khloé’s ex and father of her child True, will also appear in the show.
But there is some bad news for Kim and Pete Davidson fans: he won’t be on the show. Kim told Variety, “This is the first time I’ve spoken publicly about our relationship.” “I haven’t worked with him on any projects. And I’m not against it. It’s just not his style. He would not, however, instruct the cameras to leave if an event was taking place and he was present. I believe I will be filming something very interesting in the near future, but it will not be for this season.”
But! We aren’t left in the dark about their relationship. “How we met, who reached out to who, how it transpired, and all the intricacies that everyone wants to know,” Kim told Variety, before adding, “I’m totally open to discussing, and I definitely explain it.”
However, before you drop into the pits of misery like Lack of Pete on The Kardashians, consider the following: Kourtney stated that her and Travis Barker’s love story is being captured on the new Hulu series in her own Variety interview published on Friday (or, at least, parts of it are).
“I absolutely hold my relationship incredibly tight,” Kourt said, referring to her aversion to allowing her romantic connections (post-Scott Disick, of course) to be documented on her family’s reality program. “It’s really holy to me, and I guard it with my life. I believe I’ve taken a lot of notes. There are a lot of us on there, and we’ve had a lot of fun doing it because we have so much fun together, but I absolutely want to safeguard it as much as possible. But this is also my existence.”
Take a moment to bask in whatever happy vibes that news brings you, but then calm down a *tad* because Kravis’ love story isn’t going to be a major plot point in the new season.
“He obviously has a full-time job and a complete profession,” Kourtney said, “so it’s not his thing.” “But I think he’ll be fine with [filming], and we’ve had so much fun filming various things that we’re doing, so I’ll simply ask the producers along.”
What Are The Kardashains Going To Be About On HULU?
It’ll be similar to KUWTK, but not precisely the same. The family gets final input over the Hulu series’ edit, which is billed as more documentary-style than reality TV, to ensure that it accurately reflects the version of their story they wish to share with the world.
The new series, according to Kim, would portray a “different aspect” of the famous family, as well as more about her working life and legal studies. In October 2021, she told WSJ. magazine, “I think it will be a new perspective.” “However, I wouldn’t rule out the possibility that our goofy sides will emerge.”
In an interview with Bustle, Kourtney Kardashian claimed to come into this project, “Work-wise, I’m happiest than I’ve ever been.” Filming Keeping Up With the Kardashians was a horrible experience for her, but the new show is a new beginning. “Shooting our show turned into a really toxic environment for me at the end,” Kourtney told Bustle. “I’d get into a quarrel with my sisters.” There was just so much going on. And even for me, I wasn’t in the best of spirits.” (Fans may expect “more Poosh sequences” on The Kardashians once it airs, according to Bustle.)
Meanwhile, Kris suggested that if you were a fan of the Kardashians’ tale during the KUWTK days, the new series will be a continuation during a Disney Upfronts event after the news of the family’s partnership with Hulu surfaced.
She teased, “This is the next chapter” (per People). “You’ll watch us grow as a family in the new episode.” Fans expect us to be ourselves, and they’ve been emotionally immersed in our show since the beginning, just like we have. The fans will be ecstatic to see us continue on our adventure. I can’t reveal anything about what’s to come, but spoiler alert: we’re going to look amazing, and everyone will be watching.”
