Christie Overcame Cancer
Christie, like Holly Rowe, was diagnosed with cancer in October 2016. She first noticed a knot in her throat, which was later diagnosed as thyroid cancer after 12 days. As a result, Christie underwent surgery to remove the lymph node. Because her cancer had spread, doctors had to remove her trachea as well.
Christie was deaf for about six months. On December 15, 2016, she posted on Facebook that she was healing after seven weeks of treatment. In the post, she even thanked her supporters.
On the same day, Richard Rawlings tweeted about Christie’s health, stating that she is doing well and has overcome cancer. Cristie is currently in good health and enjoying her family life with her six children and husband.
