Chesley McNeil, the anchor of the 11Alive network’s morning show Wake Up With Chesley, greets his audience every weekday in the early morning hours. He began his career on 11Alive in 2009, and the meteorologist quickly rose to become one of Atlanta’s most well-known on-air TV personalities.
He began his career at Richmond, Virginia’s WRIC-TV. He moved to Buffalo, New York, to join the WGRZ team after eight years of anchoring the weather on Good Morning Richmond and the 8 News at Noon newscasts.
Chesley, a member of the American Meteorology Society, the National Weather Association, and the National Association of Black Journalists, has received numerous honors, including the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval.
