Brandon Cole Margera was born on September 28, 1979, in West Chester, Pennsylvania. Margera underwent legal proceedings to change his name from Brandon to Bam. Vincent Margera’s nephew and Jess Margera younger brother, he is Vincent’s nephew and Jess’s younger brother.

The 44-year-grandfather old’s nicknamed him “Bam Bam” after his habit of purposefully crashing into walls as a toddler. His classmates began to refer to him as “Bam.” When he dropped out of West Chester East High School, he was a junior. He later worked to obtain his GED.
