Anderson made a formal declaration of their breakup to Daily Mail in a statement that stated,
‘Benjamin and I separated as boyfriends some time ago. We are still family to each other, and love each other very much. We remain the best of friends, and will continue to share much of our lives together.’
Anderson was last seen with their ex-boyfriend Benjamin Maisani earlier this week as they left their Manhattan home.
Anderson spent extra time with 33-year-old Radiologist Victor Lopez, according to the Daily Mail, and even made five visits to Dallas, where Victor resides.
Additionally, Anderson was photographed with Victor in January and February, when he attended Victor’s 33rd birthday party. Anderson’s connection with their new boyfriend Victor is likely to have flourished following his breakup with longtime partner Benjamin.
Returning to Anderson and Benjamin’s romantic life, Benjamin was dissatisfied with Anderson’s frequent travel for work. Anderson confirmed to People that Benjamin was irritated by Anderson’s tight schedule, but Benjamin also understood that he enjoys it.
Despite Cooper’s tight schedule, Anderson and Benjamin found time to travel together in the months leading up to their split, vacationing in Tahiti in July alongside Irina Shayk, Bradley Cooper, Diane von Furstenberg, Allison Williams, and Cohen.
Anderson has been seeing his ex-boyfriend Benjamin since 2009, and the two had been living together until now.
They never publicly announced their relationship, however, as they desired to keep their personal lives private. And because they were observed together and considered as a couple, they didn’t feel compelled to disclose their relationship either.
Even though the ex-couple had an ideal love, they never married and so we’re unable to experience the benefits of being a husband.
