Dieuson Octave, better known as Kodak Black, was born on June 11th, 1997 in Pompano Beach, Florida. Marcelene Octave, his mother, is a Haitian immigrant. His name was later changed to Bill Kahan Kapri, and he was raised in Golden Acres, a Pompano Beach public housing estate, by his mother.
