Ben Stiller And Wife Christine Taylor Owe Thanks To Their Kids For Bringing Them Closer!

Ben Stiller and his wife, Christine Taylor, met at work, as do many Hollywood stars. On the set of Heat Vision and Jack, a 1999 TV pilot that never got off the ground, the two became friends. Stiller claims it was love at first sight, and he knew his wife was the one right away. Within eight months, the couple had fallen in love and married in 2000.

They soon had two children, a son, and a girl, and their lives seemed to be going swimmingly. They surprised everyone in 2017 when they announced their divorce.

They announced in a joint statement to People that they made the decision “with immense love and respect for one other.” The pair also stated that they will continue to raise their son and daughter in a harmonious manner.

And the couple followed through on their promises. They were frequently seen together, sometimes with their children and sometimes alone. Closer Weekly reported two years after their divorce that the two were rekindling their relationship.

Even though they were divorced, a source informed the magazine that Stiller never got over his wife and refused to move on. Stiller regretted his mistake and blamed himself for not putting enough effort into his marriage, according to the report.

One of the reasons they were getting back together, according to the outlet, was probably because co-parenting their children drew them closer. Their children were likewise overjoyed at the news of their parents reconnecting, according to the source.

“Ben’s a terrific dad who spent as much time with the kids as possible during the divorce,” the insider added. “They’re both pleased that their parents are back together.”

Ben Stiller’s Children

Ella Olivia Stiller, Stiller and Taylor’s daughter, was born in April 2002. Ella followed in her family’s footsteps and discovered her love for acting when she was very young.

When she was in fourth grade, she appeared in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and her grandfather, Stiller’s father, thought she was incredible. Stiller discussed his feelings regarding his daughter’s decision to pursue a career in Hollywood during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“I’m thrilled because she loves it, she’s really enthusiastic about it, and she knows exactly what she wants to do,” the actor explained.

He went on to say that he would help her in any way he could. Ella has already established herself in the industry with roles in Hubie Halloween, Fork Knife & Chainsaw, and Escape at Dannemora.

Quinlin Dempsey Stiller, the actor’s son, is following in his father’s footsteps. When he made minor cameos in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa in 2008, he was barely a toddler. Quinlin was also featured on Night at the Museum with his father in 2014.

In fact, of all the films his children have seen, Stiller’s Night at the Museum was the only one they have seen.

The father of two went on to say that he didn’t want to compel his children to see his films, but that they might wish to do so in the future.
