Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa are members of the South Korean girl group Blackpink, which was created by YG Entertainment. The group debuted in August 2016 with the release of Square One, a single album that featured the singles “Whistle” and “Boombayah,” both of which reached number one on the Gaon Digital List in South Korea and the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart in the United States, respectively.
Blackpink is the highest-charting Korean female group on the Billboard Hot 100, with the single “Ice Cream” (2020) peaking at number 13, as well as the Billboard 200, with The Album (2020) peaking at number two, the first-ever album by a Korean girl band to sell over one million copies. They were the first Korean female group to make it to the top of Billboard’s Emerging Artists list, and they also topped the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart three times.
So, how well-versed in Blackpink are you? If that’s not enough, we’ve assembled everything you need to know about Blackpink’s net worth in 2022, wiki, and biography. So, if you’re ready, here’s everything we know about Blackpink so far.
Blackpink’s Net Worth and Earnings in 2022
BLACKPINK has a net worth of almost $40 million as of 2022. Lisa is the wealthiest member of the group, with a net worth of $10 million, nearly $2 million more than the rest. Lisa is from Thailand, however, she has worked with brands from both Thailand and South Korea.
Although Blackpink appears to have enough money to live peacefully, this does not rule out the possibility that the group has faced financial troubles. Lisa, for example, is said to have been deceived by her ex-manager and lost $800,000. According to Allkpop in June 2020, the disputed ex-manager, dubbed “A,” has worked with Lisa and the BLACKPINK band members from their inception. He met Lisa at some point and asked her $800,000 to invest in real estate. Lisa donated the money to “A” since he appeared to be a reliable individual.

Inception and Formation
Since the debut of the first prominent female band, 2NE1, in 2009, YG Entertainment has held tryouts for preteen and adolescent candidates all over the world in order to form a new girl group.
Entering the label as a trainee, according to the founders, was like enrolling in full-time pop-star college, with Jennie comparing it to “more severe than college” and Rosé comparing it to “The X Factor with dorm rooms.” The members who had left their homes outside of South Korea found the speed of preparation, as well as the cultural shock, particularly difficult.
The planning for Blackpink began in 2011, when YG Entertainment announced on November 14 that their newest female group, Blackpink, would debut in the early half of 2012 with at least seven members. Despite the lack of official facts, various rumours and reports have surfaced since then, alleging that the latest female group’s debut has been postponed.
The girl group’s July debut was not announced until May 18, 2016, with YG Entertainment saying that the girls were picked after years of heated rivalry. Jang Hanna and Moon Sua, who had been mentioned as prospective members of the new girl group, will not be joining them, according to the label.
Evolution and Progression
The group’s track “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” was released in 2018, and it became a worldwide hit for Blackpink. It was the highest-charting girl group on Billboard. “Ddu-Du Ddu Du” was ranked No. 55 on the Billboard Hot 100. It is now the most popular K-pop band’s YouTube music video album. The song is a reflection of the Korean music act, who has over 730 million YouTube views.
The group’s enormous fan base has surpassed all prior pop star records. This group collaborated with Dua Lipa on the tune “Kiss and Makeup” only a few months ago. As a result of this relationship, they were able to reach a new population. Blackpink struck a deal with Universal Music Group and Interscope Records in October of last year.
Following the girl group’s promise and popularity, YG Entertainment partnered with Blackpink for international marketing. After reaching significant recognition and success in the music industry, the group made appearances on “The Late Show” and “Good Morning America.” “Kill This Love,” Blackpink’s second EP, was released on April 5, 2019.
The band performed LIVE at the 2019 Coachella Festival on April 12, 2019. As the first girl K-pop group to perform at Coachella, they made history. The song “Kill This Love” was named one of the top 100 songs of the year. Their song “Forever Young” had 3 million downloads in 2019. It received a Platinum certification from the KMCA for large downloads (Korea Music Content Association).
The band’s popularity grew even more with each subsequent record. They were the most popular celebs on social media. Lisa is now one of the most popular female Instagram stars. Blackpink was the most popular K-pop group on the network at the end of 2019, with 16.4 million followers.
In the year 2019, the South Korean group’s music video album “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” became the most-watched music video album. Blackpink was also chosen to Time Magazine’s “Time 100 Next,” a list of the top hundred up-and-coming artists published this year. In 2019, the band hit 9 lakh Spotify followers.
Achievements and awards
Blackpink has set numerous online records throughout their career. Their music videos for “Kill This Love” (2019) and “How You Like That” (2020), respectively, broke three Guinness World Records for most-viewed music videos in the first 24 hours of release.
They were the first Korean performer and music group to have four music videos on their YouTube channel with one billion views apiece.
Blackpink is one of the most popular girl groups on Spotify, and its YouTube channel has one of the most subscribed music groups, Asian acts, and female acts.
